A Mountain Maker Family Day
On Saturday, August 29th, the Wingfield Heritage House Museum will be hosting “A Mountain Maker Family Day” from 10am to Noon. Families will explore how early residents harnessed the power of physics, water, and timber to shape our mountain community through four interactive maker stations such as Water Wheel Wonders, Timber Transport & Sawmill Hoist, Mountain Plinko Challenge, Fizz and Foam Lab, and Cardboard Invention Maker Lab. Makers and inventors have shaped history by changing the way people live, work, travel, and communicate. Over time, new ideas and technologies have helped solve problems, improve daily life, and create new opportunities for individuals and communities.
